Re: Am I nuts or are they?
They are.
Look at their other auctions, no bids and stupid crazy prices.
This is the problem with GB not charging to post an auction, free listings garner idiots.

An item is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
Gun packaging, Lionel trains, comic books...
None are worth what they sell for - unless they are to the person buying them.
Items that are typically discarded fetch good money from those seeking to replace such items.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Am I nuts or are they?
Yep, it's all about the pricing dynamic. I've seen auctions roll over for years without any bids. The sellers just need that one buyer, and if advertising it for 10 years costs the same as for 1 auction, why not?
Look at ending auctions in most categories, MOST of them end without bids, or with reserves unmet.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com

If that sells for $125 then I'm digging my Vaquero clamshell case out and selling it too. :P

The factory "suitcase" for the old Dan Wesson revolvers usually bring good money. Anywhere from 100-150 is average selling range. It all depends how perfect you want your collection to be. I know I've paid some serious cash for some DW stuff. Just like Super Bowl tickets. It's all in how bad ya want it and how much cash you got to spend.
