Default Anyone have experience with Wolf .40 ammo?

I got a bunch of the Wolf ammo when it was on sale and took it out for the first time in my PSP Beretta 96D. First three shots were practically all one hole at 20 feet. Makes nice crisp holes - practically wadcutter.

Then I noticed that recoil seemed pretty lax (probably helping to account for great accuracy). In fact I could feel the slide barely cycle before returning to battery. I have fired Lawman rounds that were pretty snappy but not so much with the Wolf ammo.

Any one else have any experience like this?

I know it can be dirty - but that doesnt bother me. Just wondering what people thought of it for consistency and power. I'm certainly not going to have it as my first choice for a defensive round.

    Thanks!

I used to shoot it extensively out of my USP... It did seem a little less powerful then WWB stuff but it shot fine. tore up wood pretty good,

very very dirty though. Silver Bear is the same way... cheap practice ammo is about all its good for (then again thats all anyone buys it for

I've shot alot out of my Ruger P944 without a ftf. It is dirty, but not as bad as ultramax reloads Dick's has.

I used to shoot .40 S&W out of my USP 40, and I used to get at least 2-3 double feed malfunction per box.
