Kahr CW9 Question
I was at the range today and put another 100 rds through my new CW9... That hits the manual suggested "fire 200 rds before you trust your life to it" rule.
My question is... While I was cleaning it after the trip to the range, I noticed my recoile spring guide rod was made of steel (blued)... I thought that the CW9's guide rod was plastic. I am very pleased to find that it was steel because I planned on bying the stainless steel replacement part anyways. Is this a new feature on the CW9 or have they always been steel? Can anyone else tell me if theirs has a steel or plastic guide rod? I may be mistaken but I am almost positive it is made of steel.
Thank you in advance for your help and insight.

Re: Kahr CW9 Question
I'm unaware of plastic guide rods. Mine is steel, over a year old, but manufactured almost one year before I purchased it.

Re: Kahr CW9 Question
Ok, Great! Thanks guys... I was just checking to make sure it was steel as I was unaware of that feature... I thought you had to buy the steel guide rod as an aftermarket piece... This make Tony happy!
Thanks,
