Re: 1st of 2013, but
Thanks A-5 & Grump----A-5 ; I'll have to shave, then you can tell the difference, OR do chucks where blaze orange caps ????
A-5 hit the nail on the head----Stop the misses ! ! !
I have shot my .204 out to 300 yards in 20 /25 mph crosswinds. I have a good idea of the drift.
But, (there's that damn word again) when you are not scaring them, that 32 grainer is nowhere near close.
The good news is, being out 5 straight days, sometimes only for an hour, I am seeing on average about 10 porkers a day.
They are spooky and I am seeing some running at 300 yards. I am convinced the wind has them mighty nervous.
The wind hass been more than brutal. Things will get better.

On a hog that size I tend to agree, but the smaller ones (young of the year) are not half bad BBQ'd. If you remove the armpit glands and as much fat off them as you can.
Also I think they are better around mid May-june maybe maybe July but after that i don't eat any. Gonna get the girlfriend to try it this year. Not gonna tell her that just do it up and here ya go hunZRT: SECTOR 3(SNIPER) Among othe tasks...
