Default Wozniak wants to change how we elect all state judges

“It is my opinion that regionalizing our appellate courts provides better representation to all corners of the Commonwealth, not just Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. It is also important that the people actually recognize at least one of the judges on each of the benches.”

The legislation would create seven districts for Supreme Court, seven districts for Commonwealth Court and seven districts for Superior Court. At each retention election for a judicial seat, a district would be randomly selected to be filled.

I find myself torn, I have come to despise the policies of Democrats due to their attitude toward our gun rights, but this is something I think we should get behind.

This would get rid of Philly and Pittsburgh politics statewide.

Getting members on the state Supreme Court from areas other than Philly and Pittsburgh could end up being a last line of defense when it comes to our Second Amendment rights here in PA.

I would much rather have one of seven judges on a court be from my area than all seven be from Philly and Allegheny Co.

Also, to anyone involved with Domestic Relations, the PA Supreme Court makes up the child support rules, getting a few of the libs off the bench might be a good thing.

    Thoughts?

Yup, look at the Court we have now. One Justice from Pittsburgh was just convicted of corruption and another from Philly is involved with the ticket fixing scheme. Corruption at it's finest.

You would think there would be more people from the center of the state interested in having a say in the makeup of the PA courts, guess not.

These people are the ones that will determine any law Constitutional or not.
These people have a direct impact on our gun rights.

Sure is, this is something I would really like to see changed.
I sent off an email of support to Wozniak, I hope others do as well.

If not, the next time something comes before the liberal stacked courts regarding guns, we will have nobody but ourselves to blame for the outcome.
