Archbald state range
Been shooting at this range for a couple of years, and it really has gone down hill....They took the plywood boards off and now have these "rubber band" like targets that are impossible to staple targets to on there. They claim its because "shotgunners" are shooting up the boards. does that ever happen? yes, but most of the reason the condition of those boards were bad was because they wouldn't do any maintenance on the range for weeks on end. I literally have pictures of no boards hanging at all, and it would stay that way till they were called about it. They are always claiming the range is not taken care of by the shooters.....Its a shooting range......bullets hit wood things and they eventually break and need to be replaced! Just kind of annoying. It used to be free, now its 30 bucks for a permit, so why can it not be kept up? We don't need it pretty, we are not askng for flowers, just something to shoot at. Aggravating. Anybody else care to weigh in on this, or is it just me?
