What cause are you dedicated to?

About an hour ago I ran into a gentleman at the Walmart here in Clarion who was also CCing. I noticed him as he was walking in front of me into the store putting something in his back pocket. He was carrying in an OWB holster with a sweater covering up the gun, however, the bottom of the gun became exposed as he placed something in his pocket. (As I am sure those of us who have CCd in an OWB holster have experienced this more often than is we would like.) We both picked up a buggy and he proceeded ahead of me toward the Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I approached him and the brief yet funny conversation took place.

Me: Excuse me.
Gentleman: Yes?
Me: It is nice to see someone else dedicated to the cause.
Gentleman: Dedicated to the cause of doughnuts?
Me: No sir (with a look of embarrassment on my face).
Gentleman: What cause is then?
Me: CC and the 2nd Amendment in general.
Gentleman: Yes. It is always good to meet others that feel the same way.
Me: Well thank you, I will let you get back to shopping.
Gentleman: Nice to meet you.
Me: You too. Have a good day.

As I walked away I was still a little embarrassed but chuckled about it.

I've stopped looking for other people out there who are CCing. I just now assume everyone is armed. But it is nice to be reminded that you're not the only one out there. I've seen a bunch of OCers in the area over the past 2-3 years. But they are a little easier to spot than a CCer
