I'm one. Email was received around 12:30 yesterday from DeAnn. #2029- and it looks like it was almost 1 year to the day. Good things come to those that wait.

Spoke with Ramon just now. DeAnn sent emails to those of you who are next in line and all seven have responded back. They will be shipping today or Monday.

The orders are not numerical in sequence. Ramon said they have a list of guys who are listed in no particular order. They are going down the list and sending emails. If someone has to mail a check, they are going to forfeit their turn until the next round. Serbu is doing everything in their power to get all of these out asap. Going down the list is what makes it the most efficient, simple way to get this done.

There is a CA rifle in the mix. A DTC barrel was ordered for those from CA. Not sure when those rifles are going out.

At this point, the wait is almost over. A couple more weeks is not going to kill anyone.

this wouldnt be a 50bmg thread if we didnt start talking optics and rings. so what is everyone planning?

I am looking at the Vortex Razor with matching rings. Have the 30 moa rail from Serbu. I also have a Eotech 512 for those close plinking moments.

The Razor is not cheap, but is warranted for life, regardless of what happens to it. Best warranty in the industry.

i have been back and forth with ffp and sfp looking at many of the same scopes you are. nightforce seems gtg but the f1 model (ffp) starts getting up there in price and brings up the question of moving into us optics. i looked at the vortex pst and razor and felt that, compared to the nightforce, it wasnt as forgiving when it came to the angle at which i was looking through it. if i wasnt looking directly down the tube my field of view was effected.

as far as rings, i have been between barrett and badger ordinance but am unsure of the ring height. the riser and 30moa rail add considerable height already. all scopes i am looking at are between 44mm and 54mm objectives.
