Gem City club needs .22lr for junior rifle, donate if possible.

To the members and juniors of this year's team

THANK
YOU!
For the first time, I had to put a cap on the junior rifle team participants
at 60 kids.
If it weren't for Dave Hanes and Dave Edwards, who stepped up to start the
first relay at 5:00 pm, we would have had to accept far less.
Here is how a typical Monday night of Junior Rifle unfolds:
Relays go off at 5:00, 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00 pm.
There are 12-13 kids on each relay.
They shoot a total of 1800 rounds of .22 ammo every Monday.
By the time clean up is finished, it's 10:30 pm.
This is what I call dedication by the kids, the parents, and the coaches.
We buy our ammo the year before, set by the number of kids shooting.
We never expected the amount of shooters this year, or the fact that .22 ammo is hard to
find.
14,400 rounds are needed to complete our schedule through March and April.
If you could donate 50 rounds, or anything
related to the shooting sports to help support our juniors,
it would be greatly appreciated.
Our annual Gun Show is coming up in just a few weeks.
This is the ONLY fundraiser for the Junior Rifle Team, and we need plenty of help!
We are not supported by anyone but YOU!
Thanks for your support!

I wish I had some to donate. I know an affiliation with the CMP may help.

I've got a brick I'm taking over to the show, maybe more.
CMP is sold out, 6-12 month delivery, or not taking orders.

Truckman:
Do you think they would let me pay for my admission to the swap meet / gun show this Saturday using 22 Std Velocity ammo?

Dunno, try email, or better yet call. Both contact types are in my original post.
BTW admission is only $3.

I have a box of 550 (either Federal bulk or Rem Golden) I can donate though I'd like to have actual cost of shipping covered, if possible, since I'll have to ship from Philly. If anyone is willing to cover the shipping cost, I'm guessing $10 - $15, I'll send it out.
Thanks,

HUGE thank you, and rep sent, to mythaeus, who is donating a brick of ammo to a worthy cause.
I will be returning at least partial payment to cover shipping costs.
