Walther G22 reports

I have been toying with picking up a .22 plinker rifle, and the thread containing a discussion about the Ruger 10/22 had me looking around a bit.

I ran into a pretty interesting looking carbine, the Walther G22. I was wondering whether anyone has played with one of these before and, if so, any thoughts to share? I tried to search, but the search function doesn't like "G22" even though I had "Walther G22". Thanks for any thoughts in the meantime.

I have one. it works pretty well. I still prefer the 10/22. i pull the walther out when i want to play with something different. mine came with a nice hard shell case, when i got it.
