**CORRECTION** "Main Gate" Going to see a show tonight. I will not be drinking or going into the pit. Wondering what their policy (cc) is or if they have metal detectors? I cannot find anything online.

I count at least 12 officers in uniform. You had to get patted down to get in.

I work security for the company that does Main Gate. We pat down - no metal detectors. But, we are trained to police officer standard, so please don't do anything stupid. There are concealed carriers on premises, and you will be treated like the bad guy, regardless if it is for your own personal security.

A bit hypocritical no? I understand that private property rules are paramount so I guess my money will never be seen there but police standards? lol! Gotta tell you that's not too comforting. You'd be surprised what's been discovered after police patdowns.

Yeah, yeah, I know.

Look, contrary to popular belief, not all security firms are wanna be LEOs. We work in conjunction with the APD (am I digging a hole here?) and have reputable standards to uphold. We nix the egos, know what I mean?

And yes, CC for Security Officers is all about the property owner and what THEY require us to do. Many places we patrol do not allow CC.
