SWR Warlock - Silly Quiet
Picked up my SWR Warlock tonight (.22 can) and of course I couldn't wait to get some "testing" done on it.
Put some Aguila subsonic through it (and the pistol cycled just fine) and I was REALLY impressed with how quiet it is. My GAMO airguns are MUCH louder .. and I mean it when I say much. Best description I can give you is it sounds like you just dropped a D battery on a piece of wood. Pretty damned cool.
Just for giggles I put some Aguila Colibri (primer only - no powder) through it and it was ridiculous. Pull trigger, hear Hammer , hear target being hit - that's all you hear.
Ahh man - it's great to be in love.

I may be wrong but I would avoid using the Colibri ammo with a can. I believe there have been reports of baffle strikes with it.

Re: SWR Warlock - Silly Quiet
After thinking about it, I think it is actually the 65gr. stuff that was the problem.

Re: SWR Warlock - Silly Quiet
I have 5 on order. 2 are sold already. Will be in the next 3-4 weeks and the price is a well spent 450.00 for a can that shoots 5.7, 22lr, 22mag 17cal. and they even put 223 thru a can and it survived ( this voids your warranty @ swr ) and you could shoot 204 if need be. All around best can out today for the money. Built like a tank and the best part is you can clean it yourself. Ya its FA rated too...
