Need help with a fact check
I am trying to find a source for the story of the US state dept holding ships filled with foreign manufacture ammo off shore. I heard this story a few places a week ago and I can not find ANYTHING about it online now. Has anyone else heard about this story?

I can't find ANYTHING about it on line... not even rumors. Part of me thinks that may mean it might be true and "washed" away. I heard it from a friend who heard it from his friend who allegedly works for a t f. If anyone finds anything, please let me know. I will keep searching. I was having a discussion with an individual about the ammo madness, I quoted this story and he called me out for a source..... my honor is on the line. Perhaps I shouldn't have blurted out this story.
