Re: Ammo Report- Erie Area- Post any finds here
The two eastside Walmarts in Erie have lots of 9mm. Something called Perfecta, brass case, 10.67 for 50. I had to buy a 38spl. Now I remember why I got rid of my last one. 21.87 for 50 rounds.
No 22lr.

Field & Stream across from the Millcreek Mall is loaded with 22lr. Buckets, bricks of Golden Bullets. A little high priced, but not outrageous. 90 a bucket, 30 a brick. Also CCI, 10 cents a round, and Winchester 222 for 15 bucks. Many buckets right at the front door.

Re: Ammo Report- Erie Area- Post any finds here
It appears the 22lr crunch may be over. The city WalMart had a large assortment, and prices were back to reasonable, even for Golden Bullets, which had a mystifying big increase a while back. They had buckets of GB for 73 bucks. CCI minimags, Winchester SuperX, CCI standard velocity, Federal AM, and Remington GB and Thunderbolt bricks. Most I'd seen since 2012.
Hoping you all took note of which gun shops gouged the hell out of prices during the crunch, and reward their greed accordingly. I know there are two in particular I'll never step foot in ever again.Last edited by SevenMilePete; August 31st, 2017 at 12:52 AM.

Re: Ammo Report- Erie Area- Post any finds here
OMG I got a brick of Federal Bulk 550, plated HP for 19.95, at the Peach St. Walmart. Cheapest I've gotten decent 22lr at in 6 years. That's 3.6 cents a round. And jokers on here are trying to sell Winchester junk for over 10 cents a round. FIRM!
They had quite a few in stock, as well as CCI minimags(7.47/100), Federal AM(16.95), Thunderturds, even buckets of Golden Bullets.Last edited by SevenMilePete; February 6th, 2018 at 01:24 AM.

Seems like Field and Stream is doing a huge ammo sale right now too, they have a bunch of shotgun ammo(12,20) on sale, I think 9mm is marked down a few others.

I was passing through, on my way home from the Boot Box in Meadville, I needed new work shoes.
I also stopped at Dunhams, and Keystone. I'm looking for a new scope and thought "what the heck, I'll see what scopes they have".
Didn't plan on buying anything.

Re: Ammo Report- Erie Area- Post any finds here
I picked up some Aguila 22 lr at the new Sportsmans Warehouse across from the Millcreek Mall. 29.99 for a brick, either HP or solid. I've never used it, but I was running low, and it's a decent price. I guess I'll give it a try. I haven't seen much 22lr recently. I know......I should have bought a dozen of the 19.99 Federal at Walmart when they were loaded with them last year.

Re: Ammo Report- Erie Area- Post any finds here
Has anyone been able to purchase any 22lr at normal prices in Erie area? I went to Harborcreek Walmart, and they didn't have a single round on the shelves. I don't know if they are hiding it or what. Clerk said they get a little in and it gets sold right away.
