New gun sale wallenpaupak sporting issue
I purchased new S&W revolver last Friday from Mark Strasder owner wallenpaupak sport in Hawley. When i tried registering it this morning, reg didn't go through. I found that the serial number is a 2013 model yet I bought new last Friday in 2016.
What course of action do I have to get dealer to replace with new 2016 model so I can obtain full warranty?

If has never been sold or registered before, you will still get the full warranty. It would matter if it was made in 1950, if the manufacturer is still in business and the item was brand new in the box, the warranty still carries the full value.

Not sure what you are driving at.
Are you saying S&W will not honor the warranty as a new firearm?
Buying a gun is not like buying a car, where a new 2013 is worth less than a 2016 even if brand new.
If the model you purchased is no longer in production and Smith is now manufacturing a newer generation of that model you may have gotten a better deal, but it's still NIB, and should be treated as such with the warranty.FUCK BIDEN

It is possible that he has had it in stock, unsold since receiving it in 2013/2014.

You bought a new gun. It had never been fired right? It's a new gun.

I think you need to explain this part a little more. I know you are talking about registering it with S&W for warranty purposes, but what exactly happened as you submitted the info?
Beyond that, I'd be on the phone with S&W rather than asking some people online who really have no way to help resolve the issue.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

It's never been fired. The numbers come up on 2013 product guide. However the serial is 2016

Re: New gun sale wallenpaupak sporting issue
Cool.
As already mentioned though, it wouldn't have mattered if it were made in 2013 either though. The warranty doesn't start ticking until you buy it - not from the day it was made.
The only thing that could have been an issue on your end is if there had been safety, or product improvements since 2013 and you purchased a "lesser" model at the current model price.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
