Waiting for Montco county to approve my ltcf

I posted twice about obtaining ltcf from Montco county but I had another question which I can't seem to find here

From what I read and understood so far, it's a law to approve ltcf within 45 calendar days correct? Does that law apply for non us citizens as well?

I'm a green card holder and its been about 45 days since I applied and no call so far. Wondering if that 45 calendar day law applies for me as well

Yes, that should apply to you. I suggest you call them and make sure your license is ready so you can go pick it up.

You calling and asking about it would not be a lawful reason for denial.

Why do people have wait in Montco now? I got mine the same day at the sheriffs office in Norristown. Went in, background check, $20 bill and a picture.. they printed it right there.

My Cousin got his today in Montco. He dropped off the app yesterday. they said there system was down to come tomorrow, today, to get it. He said he left and an hour later they called and said it was ready.

What county is norristown? Chester county took about a month.

Montco.. Took me 15 minutes to get mine in Sept of 2011.
