Unami Fish and Game Bowling Pin Challenge
Unami Fish and Game Presents:
“Bowling Pin Challenge”
Saturday March 23rd 2013 Start Time 9:00 AM
Come out and test your accuracy and have
some fun shooting bowling pins for points!
2 Divisions, 3 Power floors in each:
Stock: Open sights ONLY! Fiber optic sights are allowed, must be notch and post type.
Open: Any optics allowed
Power floor: **NO FULL METAL JACKET**
Major: 45ACP, 44Mag, 40S&W, 357 Mag, 38 Super
Minor: 38 Spl, 9mm, 380ACP
Rimfire: 22LR ONLY
Cost: $10 per gun. Multiple guns and runs are allowed.
Shooters will need 2 magazines, or speed loaders / moon clips with ONLY 6 rounds loaded in each.
A Stage will consist of 5 pins set up on a table. You will shoot it 3 times for your total score. Each time you will move back 5 yards. So the
first will be 10 yards, then 15 yards, then 20 yards. This will then give you your total score. Once you have completed all three distances
you will then go to the 10 Pin stage. Both scores will be added together to give you your total match score. Any ties will be settled by a
shoot off!
Scoring:
Each shooter will score 1 point for every pin that is knocked over, and 1 point for every pin that is knocked off of the table. When you are
finished shooting all 5 pins, you will receive 2 points for every unfired round you have left in your gun. So if you shoot 5 shots, and knock
every pin off the table with each shot, the best possible score would be 24 points. 10 points for the pins and 14 points for the 7 unfired
rounds left.
Scoring will be the same for the 10 pin stage. Here you have the chance of knocking over more than 1 pin at a time.
Food will be available for purchase.
Come out and join us for a great time!

Re: Unami Fish and Game Bowling Pin Challenge
Guess I need to get over there and shoot some pins for practice. If I can find any on the ground that will stand up.

Re: Unami Fish and Game Bowling Pin Challenge
I have a question on the scoring. Do you only get the bonus points for unfired rounds if you've knocked all the pins off the table? Otherwise it's not worth shooting at knocked-over pins.

Re: Unami Fish and Game Bowling Pin Challenge
To answer the question: to obtain the bonus points for unfired rounds, bonus points are calculated in when all pins have fallen to the ground off the table and then the 2 points per unfired round are calculated in. I hope this helps clarify.

Re: Unami Fish and Game Bowling Pin Challenge
Yes thanks! Of course I'll be shooting perfect scores so the point will be moot (not).
