Default Groundhog hunting in Northampton County

My wife has taken an interest in going groundhog hunting with me this year. I usually hunt my uncles land but its fairly limited with both game and size. Anyone in the area have some land or know someone with land that would be willing to share?

Do what I do. Get the PGC's coop map and plot the farms out on a map and start driving around and knocking on doors. I've found quite a few good spots in Northampton county that way. Lots of farms down there

We live in Pen Argyl, I could just drive around within 5 min of my house and do that. However, I wouldnt feel comfortable at this time just showing up on someones property and asking to hunt.

For those people (certainly not me as I know all things ) who don't know what the co-op thing you are referring to is, could someone explain?

There is Federal property that is farmed and huntable east of you look along National Park Road east of Tots Gap Rd above Slateford. Good grouse & tree rats 4 sure, should be some wood chucks around...

I second this. I am unfamiliar with this as well.

I can't pull up a direct link right now on my iPod but
    http://www.portal.state.pa.us/portal...=620379&mode=2
    For reading info

Browse around on the pgc site under where to hunt and you will find the map of the co-op farms. Not the easiest to decipher but worth the effort

Yup. I hunt there too. The hogs there when you can find them eat health for sure.
