ACR charging handle
I need a gunsmith or machinist to fabricate me a new charging handle for the bushmaster ACR. The stock charging handle is very small and when you mount some optics far foward, like my eotech, it hits the eotech mount and won't pull all the way to the rear. I'd like one that is straight rather than angled like the stock one. Anybody have any suggestions? I wish I had the tools to make it myself but unfortunately I don't. I am located in Pittsburgh

Re: ACR charging handle
Just flip it over so it angles down like in my pic.

Re: ACR charging handle
It rubs, but thats not the only issue. It doesn't stick out far enough when running a eotech and magnifier. It needs to be longer to allow for easier use. Anyway I took the gun to Josh at Allegheny Gun Works and he is fabricating me a new one that is about 3/4" longer

Re: ACR charging handle
Call a local machine shop. Bring in the piece and tell them what you want different. They should be able to make one up.
