    Default North American Arms

I've been looking at naa revolvers for cc. Anyone have experience with them? Are the triggers tricky? I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

I had one. Completely regret selling it. Trigger isn't bad and I was able to get decent accuracy at 5-7 yards and hit paper at 15 yards. In 22 magnum I only shot a couple rounds through it at a time. Not too comfortable. For a primary ccw I wouldn't recommend it but for back up or for last resort carry absolutely. Did I mention I regret selling it?

I personally would carry a good knife over one of those revolvers. My dad had one and they were neat to look at but a pain to shoot. Couldn't hit the broad side of the barn.

I have the NNA Wasp .22 magnum (with a .22lr conversion cylinder). I love it. It is accurate within limitations...more of a gut/eyeball/ear/last resort gun. I would not carry it as a primary weapon. As for the trigger, it is single action, but it's trigger is more button than trigger. It also has notches between the chambers on the cylinder where the hammer rests while carrying. If it is dropped or the trigger (button) is pressed (even though not cocked), it will not accidentally discharge.

It is more of a fun gun than one I would depend on for self-defense. I'd put it in the category of better than no gun or secondary carry.

I have the Magnum and I agree with all the above. I'm not selling mine.

Thumbs up Re: North American Arms

I've got an NAA PUG .22 mag / .22 lr cylinder. Love it, carry it everywhere I go as a back up. Certainly not a range gun, definitely a belly gun.

And I agree with this. Mine's on me unless I'm naked.

I have one I bought 20 years ago! I think it is a great pistol for what it is. It is NOT a one shot stopper, nor is it likely to stop an a attacker of any sort (my personal opinion only). I am able to put a round in a paper plate at 8 paces on a "quickish" draw. They are very well made/finished pieces, but they are more a curiosity than a deterrent. I have the the folding holster grips and the regular wood grips with a nylon pocket holster that carries 6 extra rounds in a pouch. I won't sell this one, due to the multitude of last resort carry options. Again, they are very well made, and customer service was excellent (I needed a belt clip for the holster grip bought used, and the sent me one for free after I offered to pay for it!!)
Buy one and you won't regret it. Cb

A .22 mag to the forehead or temple will make your attacker think about staying engaged, though. If you're clever enough to make that shot, they will likely be stopped.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

I have a 70's vintage version. Pre-naa purchase of the patent. It's been in my pocket since I bought it. Put 100 rounds through it and have it loaded with 3 HP rounds and 2 bird shot rounds. It's a backup gun for sure, don't rely on just a mini revolver.
