If Hillary Quits
If Hillary Quits
Here's something that will scare the heck out of you and may prevent you from sleeping tonight. This from Rush Limbaugh...
If Hillary tosses in the towel and agrees to back BO, and he becomes President, what will she want in return? Not the veep - the voters, the party, and BO probably wouldn't stand for that, and in eight years, she'll be too old to run for the presidency again.
So, what would this power hungry woman settle for? If BO is elected, the House and Senate will surely be Democrat controlled and BO can pay Hillary off big time by nominating her for the Supreme Court. Remember, John Paul Stevens is 88 years old.
The Republicans will have no way of stopping it. This woman would then be able to rain havoc on our Republic for the rest of her life, and do more damage than she ever could do as President.
Sleep tight...

Re: If Hillary Quits
The more she hangs on, the great the chance of lingering animosity, which lessens the chance of her selection.
With her past, I'm concerned she'll burn the Constitution and claim it never existed. Naturally, opponents & dissidents will conveniently commit suicide in local parks. Slick Willie's regime will look like girl's night in the Desmond Tutu fan club compared to what's likely to happen if Hillary gets throned.
Know this: no matter who wins the primaries, if a Dem gets in the White House, gun owners lose.Gloria: "65 percent of the people murdered in the last 10 years were killed by hand guns"
Archie Bunker: "would it make you feel better, little girl, if they was pushed outta windows?"

Hillary is objectively unqualified for the Supreme Court. She has never been a judge, and has no expertise in Constitutional Law. She is also highly politicized, and most Americans still like to entertain the notion that the Supreme Court should be not be highly political.
I sincerely doubt that she would be a real candidate for the Court. There are others who are just as liberal but who also have the benefit of actually being remotely qualified for the office.

Re: If Hillary Quits
Minor point here, but there are no Constitutional "qualifications" for a Supreme Court justice other than being nominated by the President and receiving a simple majority approval in the Senate. There is not even a requirement be a lawyer. Unfortunately that means that she would very much be qualified.
U.S. Constitution - Article 2 Section 2
Article 2 - The Executive Branch
Section 2 - Civilian Power Over Military, Cabinet, Pardon Power, Appointments
The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to Grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.
He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.
The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.Bill USAF 1976 - 1986, NRA Endowment, USCCA
