Devcon or Acraglas
I want to bed my 700 SPS Tactical stock. I have never bedded a stock before but this does not look too difficult. Which product is superior for bedding? On the Devcon, it seems as if there are a couple of choices: steel putty, steel liquid or aluminum putty. Which one should be used?

Re: Devcon or Acraglas
You want Devcon 10110. Acraglas isn't that great, so I've read.

Re: Devcon or Acraglas
I've used Acraglass gel and the regular brand. I used Devcon on the last 3 bedding job and I'll NEVER go back. Kiwi neutral shoe polish as a release agent.
Devcon 10110 is much harder and seems to release better.

Re: Devcon or Acraglas
I agree with using devcon. I have done upwards of 60 bedding jobs. started out with acraglass, then acraglass gel, then several other two part epoxies, and ended up with devcon. easy to work with, cleans up easily also, plenty of time for working. you won't be disappointed. good luck jim
