    Useful link, thanks.

So, the map shows that pro-gun Utah actually has their own system, like PA does. So does pro-gun Florida. Since so many folks have Utah and Florida non-resident licenses, and are familiar with the generally pro-gun nature of those states, it looks like there's no real link between being pro-gun and letting Obama and Holder take charge of the Brady checks.

Idaho, with about 1/10th the population of Pennsylvania, uses NICS. As I guessed, if your state is sparsely populated, it may not pay you to maintain a POC system of your own.

So very glad that HB921 didn't move out of committee for a vote. Getting rid of PICS is a huge mistake.

Does anyone know who the NRA contact is for the PA email alerts? Super disappointed to see them supporting 921, but I suspect that's because they're not fully educated on the subject and are probably receiving talking points from FOAC and the like (EDIT: they aren't; I was wrong on that assumption). I would very much like to express my disappointment and opinion on the issue and maybe change some hearts and minds.

NRA isn't taking any advise from FOAC. It is more likely he is working with the sponsor of the bill. John Hohenwarter is the NRA rep for PA.

Good to hear, and looks like my presumption was incorrect. Sorry about that.

Thanks very much for the info.
