UTAH CCW Class Near Gettysburg 3/17

Adams County Sport Handgunners Assocation www.acsha.com is hosting Jason from jsholsters.com for a UTAH CCW class

ACSHA is also having a 22 rimfire fun shoot immediately following the class. Starts at Noon. Admission is free, but we will be accepting donations if anyone wants to donate.

Shooting gallery style shoot. Various targets set up on all 3 ranges.

For anyone considering getting their Utah permit through this class here is my .02 recommendation.

I took my Utah class at this range, and Jason taught the class. The range is nice, the classroom / clubhouse facilities are very good, and Jason did a very good job of delivering the material to satisfy Utah's requirements while making sure his own presentation was tailored to a Pennsylvania audience so that there would be no confusion regarding legalities.

Our class had a bunch of "old-timers" as well as some folks brand new to firearms and carry, and it was interesting to watch Jason switch modes as he customized his delivery to make sure everyone got the value they needed.

Highly recommended.

So at the end of the class with approval you get a Utah ccw permit not a Pa. Right???

To be clear, at the end of the class you get to apply for a Utah permit, the class is a Utah requirement.

No class is required for a PA license.

Correct. You'll walk away with all the stuff that you need including the instructor sign off. Then I believe you have a year to send it in to UTAH.

djturnz, i was a member at acsha a few years ago but let my membership run out. what do i need to do to renew or rejoin ??

looks like i can make the next membership meeting. what time is it ?
