Re: Falls Township pistol and rifle club
I'm a member of FTRPA. You'll find that there are regulars that shoot at the club but by and large the majority of members are "plinkers". They'll come out and shoot with friends and family at the plinking range.
I find it hard to believe that a member would leave the club just because there's a 5 shot rule. It's probably one of the finest clubs in the "blacktop area" of the State.

Re: Falls Township pistol and rifle club
Hey guys, I'm a Yardley resident and I'm interested in checking out and possibly joining the club. I've heard different things: need a sponsor, don't need a sponsor, waiting list, no waiting list. I left a couple of voicemails at the club, but no one has responded. What is the current status for new membership? What is the cost? Can anyone out here help me get in? Thanks!

Re: Falls Township pistol and rifle club
Yes, you do need a sponsor. The sponsor must be a current member in good standing for two years. Presently there is a waiting list. As far a I know everyone calling the club about membership is called back.
PM me with your phone number and I can give you all the answers you need.

Re: Falls Township pistol and rifle club
There is a waiting list for new members. The way to get to meet current members is to attend one of the shoots that are held at the club. Jeff answered you, he's an officer in the club. Check the Clubs website and calendar for something you might be interested in. Show up at one of the shoots and introduce yourself.

We have lots of events that will allow you to enter the property. See the Match Director and he'll get you started in the right direction.
One sentence of caution: The open gate is not permission to shoot on the property.

Re: Falls Township pistol and rifle club
I'm on the waiting list to join the Falls club. I haven't been there yet to check out the facilities or try the pistol range. Would any one be interested in hosting me for an outing? It would be much appreciated. PM me if you would be willing. Thanks.

Re: Falls Township pistol and rifle club
MnPnewbie,
Your post 4 weeks ago asked several questions about joining Falls Township R & P. I see now that you are on the waiting list so you must have gotten a sponser. Did anyone on the membership committee tell you how long the wait is? You do not need to be a member to shoot in any of the clubs open events. Show up and introduce yourself.
Just curious,
