    While not a "legality", it is recommended that when she says "Thank you", you reply with "You're welcome".

    If it is a shotgun or rifle most definitely.
    I THINK a father can pass down a pistol to a son with no paperwork as long as same last name. Do not know about mother. I do not know for sure or the specifics behind it. This is just what I've heard, I've never researched it or asked a professional. I do not have a legal background so keep researching.

    No paperwork is required for any transfer between parent/child or child/parent, as long as both are PA residents and the recipient is not a prohibited person.

    My last gun was paid for by my husband but actually purchased by my son. It was a Christmas present. I also got a Atomic Dog paddle holster in carbon fiber, an extra mag and several boxes of ammo. Great Christmas!

    As stated above, no FFL transfer is required.

    You can gift a gun to your mother if your op is acurate.
