Thumbs down The mall at steamtown is a victim zone now

The sign that i attached is now posted on all doors leading into the mall at steamtown in scranton. This mall is becoming a flea market instead of a retail mall. It is a very poorly written sign but gave me a few laughs. It allows people to ride bikes in the mall as long as they dont obstruct stores. you can protest and solicit money as long as you arent doing it for a charity. sales of any merchandise are prohibited in the mall (must be why all the stores are going out of business). shirts and footwear are required but pants are not and you are not allowed to walk slowly to inconvience others. violating federal law is so important they put it at #17 out of 20 and pretty close in importance to the ban on photographing stores lol.

I call it recommended practice, and as long as I conform to the state laws, I can only be asked to leave...nothing more, although I must say, these are the places one may feel most at risk, particularly the parking lot. I could only assume that if you where accosted in the parking area and they did not readily provide immediate protection, and your where a CWP holder and left your firearm at home so you could access their shopping area, there could indeed be a civil lawsuit for failing to protect you.

The mall at Steamtown has been "gun free" for years. Maybe now they're clearly posting signs at all the entrances since people can now OC on Steamtown property (but not in buildings).

Really? You extrapolated from that that it's OK to not wear pants?

Your parents must have had a bitch of a time setting rules for you.

    LOL
I'm just glad that they haven't prohibited bringing pet llamas into the mall.

I was there this weekend. It's such a dump compared to the other malls in the area. Literally half of the stores are empty, and prob 50% of the occupied storefronts aren't even really retail stores ( there's the Lackawanna tax office in one, Comcast customer service location in another, a permanent model train display in another ( which is kinda cool).

The "food court" has four (!!!) occupied spaces and like 5 empty ones lol.
Really, the only reason we go there is for Boscov's on occasion.
I'm faster than Doc Holliday (with Novocaine of course)
