REMINGTON 11-48 PARTS
LOOKING FOR A USED BARREL IN 12GA FOR MY REM. ANY SUGGESTIONS? LOOKED ON THE WEB BUT NOT ALOT AND IM NOT PAYING 225 FOR A BARREL ON A GUN THATS WORTH 200

870 barrels work you just have to drill the gas port,there are a ton of 870 barrels on the market,just make sure it is the correct chamber

Just came to me, possibly 11-87 barrels? There's a 18" 11-87 barrel at my local shop that's been in the parts box for months. I'm sure I could get it for $80 otd, if that would help let me know.
I'm 75% sure 11-87 barrels are 100% compatible. If I remember right the 11-87 was a recoil operated semi like the 11-48 and the 1100 was the first model to be gas.
My 11-48 sporting a 870 mag extension, cut down to 18" and rethreaded for choke:
