.223 Rifle Recommendations
Looking to get my feet wet with some NFA gear. I have a Remington 700 LTR chambered in .223 that's already threaded and with a bunch of goodies already.
I think my next purchase will be a can for it, however, most information I find online is for AR's and other similar platforms. I'm looking for something that will work with my rifle (I assume a .223 can will go on any gun, regardless of platform)
I don't even know where to start. I've jumped on silencertalk and done my usual good research. But what's good? What do you guys have hands on experience with. I do have an FFL to go through and a clear background shouldn't pose a problem.
I'm expecting a long wait. But I want to make sure I'm happy with my can. I guess I'm just looking for some advice.

Re: .223 Rifle Recommendations
Well do you want a thread on or a Q/D? I have a Q/D and i use my can on bolt guns and AR platforms and even on my SBR FN PS90 in5.7x28. I personally would get a Q/D 30 cal can and the use it on sub cals and 30 cals as well. For example a Yankee Hill Machine Q/D 7.62 phantom comes with one mount, .578x24 threads for said mount(common 30 cal thread), you can then buy a Q/D mount threaded for your (I am guessing)1/2x28 threads for your 223/5.56 platforms, 1/2x28 is common on .22 cal platforms. Then each host you want after that you get threaded and attach the according threaded Q/D, like on 308, .270, 22-250, 204, 25-06, and so on and so on.

Re: .223 Rifle Recommendations
If you are going to get into NFA, I say buy the best quality you can afford since each item will cost you $200.
Ti suppressors are very light, but typically cost a lot more than SS suppressors. Take a look at SAS, if you don't mind waiting for a quality suppressor. I've wanted one of their suppressors for years.
I ended up getting a Thunder Beast 30P-1 since TBAC had an awesome deal around Thanksgiving.
I don't know if you need QD since it will add to the cost since you will need a brake/QD adapter for each firearm you are using and some of those mounts will cost you $130 per mount.

Re: .223 Rifle Recommendations
That's kind of what I was leaning towards. I dont need a Q/D. And my rifle is the standard 1/2x28. I guess I'll just do a bit more looking around and see what I can come up with.
Thanks Fellas.
