Re: .223 Initially- PARC
I could be in for the right price...and I'm willing to be an aggregator also. 223 and 40S&W...and 300BLK if they can swing it . I'd also volunteer for testing if you need another shooter...

Re: .223 Initially- PARC
I'm in for a 1k off 5.56 if the price is reasonable. I'm excited about this idea if it works out

Re: .223 Initially- PARC
Is this ammo from a known manufacturer?
New manufacture?
Remanufactured?
As much as I want/need .223, I have too many bills to pay at the moment to say "I'll take a case".
I wouldn't mind splitting a case with one or two local people though, as I can swing 200-300 rds.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: .223 Initially- PARC
As others have said, I'm in for 1k depending on price, I have plenty of coworkers who would need some as well.

Re: .223 Initially- PARC
Here is some of the latest info, some that has leaked to AKFILES and some additional info.
I was going to copy and paste the post, but their site just went down, so....
We WISH we could buy @ .20-.22 per round! Those days are long gone.

We were not releasing this information yet, because it is not finalized and may be drastically different than the final results (hopefully pricewise!)
But we are not speculating on price at this time, that is based upon the interest that everyone is giving us. It's a lot different saying, "We need 2 million for our first shipment" versus "We need 100k"
We are going to bring back a small quantity for testing and evaluation before we move forward on something this size, and BEFORE we take any orders.
We (and you) will know EXACTLY what you are getting, what to expect, performance info, etc. Oh yeah, and the price, too
As you all know, we are very upfront with what we do, the decisions we make, and what we offer to do for/with you all. That means we often hear more grumblings than if we just made an authoritarian decision and decreed the results.
But that is how we prefer to do things and we have received a LOT of very positive feedback with the rally planning and execution (uhm...the execution of the plan, we didn't plan any executions ), so even though this buy isn't exactly the same thing, we're trying to do the same thing here.
Maybe it will work out and everyone will like it. Maybe it will work and people hate it. Maybe it will all be one big flop and we'll drop the offer.
That remains to be seen....
Now with all of that being said, we have a few Q's for which we'd like some responsible opinions (notice the "R-word" LOL ) All this is based on .223 ammo
1. Market pricing. What are you guys seeing out there for 55gr Hollow points?
2. What quantities are you finding available? Backorder times? Purchase limits?
3. If there are purchase limits, are you interested in waiting longer to get a better deal elsewhere?
4. What is everyone's feel for future availability? Think it is going to get better or worse? Over what timeframe?
5. If we don't have a choice, are you willing to pay a premium price for fast and large quantities?
6. What about hording? Some have asked if we were going to do something to prevent a handful of people from buying it all up and hording it or flipping it online. Suggestions or opinions?
7. Other suppliers/importers...Anyone know any? We can consider multiple sources and be a kind of centralized distributor to provide products or volumes, if that helps.
8. Local testers/evaluators? We may consider a few test quantities to local testers who will run these through their paces and give us all an evaluation before we go big with the orders.
Keep in mind, this is going to be a TON OF WORK! But we want to do the best we can to get as much ammo out to as many of you as we can. We also feel the pain of shortages and panic pricing.
After meeting many of you in person at the Jan23rd rally, we began working on various efforts to help out our fellow Responsible Citizens. This is the first one and will be a test of sorts.
If all goes well, we may be able to offer more "help" with other hard to find items in addition to other calibers of ammo.
So please be free with your suggestions and we'll see what can be done.I Dial 1911
