Even if you can't get anyone else to go do yourself a favor go to classic Pistol Range is one of the best & safest in the USA and the Owner-Bob is a nice guy. go and have fun plus you can rent a variety of guns to try out on the range w/ one of their range packages. jmop

Re: Any one a classic pistol shooter
I shoot at classic, but lately they have been so jam packed i have been looking elsewhere to shoot. Hopefully when prices go back to normal, ammo becomes available, and pmags sit on shelves there finally wont be a wait time when i go to shoot.
Mostly browsing these days, and expanding the collection.

Same here. I went two Saturdays ago. Got there 5 min after opening and still had to wait half an hour to get a lane.

Re: Any one a classic pistol shooter
Myself and a few buddies have been shooting at Clayton's lately, and I have to say their range is one of the cleanest ranges I've seen in this area. It's nice knowing we can shoot a mix of pistol, rifle, and shotgun all at the same lane indoors. Classic is cool, but for the kind of shooting we're doing Clayton's has been the range to go to.

Re: Any one a classic pistol shooter
I never even looked at Claytons before, maybe its time to branch out. Im really leaning towards trying to get into a gun club. I'm starting to look into precision shooting, distances that is.
This is probably my last membership at classic pistol. Its just not doing it for me as a range anymore. The pro shop is great, and the staff are good people, im just evolving past their range, and random clientele.Mostly browsing these days, and expanding the collection.

Re: Any one a classic pistol shooter
Yup, I go their at least once or twice a week. Going on weekends can be bad though, lately it has been insanely crowded. If you go on week days you're normally good to go. But I never try to go there on weekends anymore.
If you want to meet up and shoot some time PM me, I have all kinds of guns but maybe you have something I don't and vice versa. Perhaps we can both get a chance to shoot things we normally don't.
