    This is something that started 2 years ago with the dust up about open carriers in Starbucks and Starbucks standing up to support the laws of their state.

    It got started on facebook last year as a 'Guns and Coffee' event

    I was wondering where National Open Carry Day came from too, as I had never heard of it.

    Do I understand this correctly, Starbucks was involved in a positive way? A corporation actually stood up for individual rights? Rights that may not be inline with their main clientele?

    If this is true, WOW! I am really suprised, happy but suprised.

    Yes - in CA and WA the anti's made a stink at Starbucks when open carriers started meeting there.

    Starbucks made a simple statement that they follow the laws of the state. Anti's freaked
