The primary is irrelevant for the LP. It is nothing more than the Dems and GOP having the taxpayers fund their nomination process. It is an internal party function.
We in the SVLP and the LPPA have a meeting/convention where members vote on their candidates and nominate independent of the taxpayers. We accomplish the same thing without asking the taxpayers to fund it.
We should not become like the Dems and GOP, the GOP and Dems should become more like us. the PA primary system should be abolished, let the parties nominate their candidates themselves without taxpayers footing the bill.
The caucus system in other states is similar to what I refer, or just have meetings like the LP does.
