Default EFI (Extreme Firepower) cuts off a bunch of government agencies

From their Sales and Service Policy Page:

    Government Sales

The Federal Government and several states have enacted gun control laws that restrict the public from owning and possessing certain types of firearms. Law-enforcement agencies are typically exempt from these restrictions. EFI, LLC does not recognize law-enforcement exemptions to local, state, and federal gun control laws. If a product that we manufacture is not legal for a private citizen to own in a jurisdiction, we will not sell that product to a law-enforcement agency in that jurisdiction.

    Hat tip to EFI, awesome.

Unlike in the past where the US Govt. had the original Springfield Armory, now they don't have their own weapons factory. They rely completely on private companies for arms. If firearms manufacturers keep up the pressure and refuse to sell to the US govt and related civilian agencies (like police), this will become a real problem for them. Sure, they'll still likely be able to purchase from foreign entities (like Beretta, H&K, FN, etc.) but it'll come at far greater cost and will still reduce overall supply to the government.

Awesome, we need more companies like this to assist in the grassroots effort to rein in our government.

Nice going EFI, we do need more companies like this. I also like their statements about California and Illinois.

California EFI, LLC has registered with the DoJ CFLC program and we will sell any product that we legally can to the public. We will not, under any circumstances, sell any of our products to law-enforcement or state agencies until the California legislature repeals the gun control laws that have been enacted, as these entities have lobbied in favor of statewide gun bans.

EFI, LLC will not sell anything to the followinglocal government agencies until their firearm and/or magazine restrictions have beenrepealed: City of Chicago, Illinois New York State Washington, DC

All products that we manufacture are available to our military customers.

This is great, but I would love for one of the big companies ie S&W, Colt, or Sig to do the same thing.

Got a blast from S&W today asking me to call my reps which I do every day. I also set a reply and asked, when are they going to move out of anti gun Massachusetts. Lets see what kind of reply I get. I will not do business with any company that puts money back into any ANTI GUN STATE. CUT MY OWN THROAT NOTTT.

I didn't realize they were among the Massholes.

Colt, Remington, Kimber, Mossburg, Ruger, Springfield and Henry are all in high-tax, anti-gun states.

WTF? Maybe gun people really are stupid.
