    Default "Arsenal" of illegal guns.

    http://www.wpxi.com/news/news/local/...en-murd/nWLzc/

Authorities said detectives found a sawed-off shotgun, a loaded revolver, a loaded pistol and a 9mm handgun inside Palmer's home.
    Man...I don't want to know what they'd call my collection of a 9MM Glock 17, a .30-30 Marlin 336CS, a 12 gauge Ottomanguns Sultan P1, a 5.56x45MM Colt M4, a .22LR MP5 SD and a 7.62x39MM FEG SA 85M...a military supply depot?

Granted, this woman appears to be a real winner based on the last sentence of the story (she doesn't live there, just makes sure there is food there for her kids). But I am still disturbed at what constitutes an arsenal these days.

I have often thought about what a greusome picture the media could paint of most any member on here should they ever have the opportunity/need. Instead of having a decent stockpile of ammo, a nice firearms collection and some loaded self defense weapons you are a stark raving lunatic with thousands of rounds, some of which are hollow point cop killer boolits!!1! Good Lord help you when the news crew finds out about some long guns that are "unregistered"

Not to mention all the "bomb making materials" that all of us have. You know, all that stuff under your kitchen/bathroom sink.

Hmmm, I reckon I'm outta date here: I always thought an ARMORY was where weapons were STORED, and an ARSENAL was where weapons were MADE. But then, I'm 75, so what do I know

Huh. With the exception of not being sawed off, that describes my bedroom safes. If they got to the main safe in the basement, the Channel 11 folks would have a heart attack.

If the guns are illegal it's an arsenal. If they're legal it's a collection.

I was watching a thing last night about the Branch Davidians and the Waco Invasion. They mentioned that the Davidians had a *stockpile* of 8000 rounds. I looked at my gf, and she was already looking at me, and she rolled her eyes and we went back to watching. I had just earlier in the day come home with my 20000th round for the stockpile. Guess I'll have tanks parked out front tomorrow
