    The sheriff doesn't like those of us who don't have anglo-saxton names. I dropped mine off on Feb 1st and haven't heard anything.

    Mine renewal took 2.5 weeks in February. My son dropped off a new application on Monday and received his approval today (Thursday).

    Man.... You guys are lucky. Two weeks waiting time for.ltcf and thats when its backed up. I just dont get how DELCO and other counties take 2-2 1/2 months.

    I got my LTCF in Lancaster on a Thursday around noon a couple weeks ago. I filled out the paperwork, waited a few minutes while they phoned in the background check, then they took my picture and handed me the card. Less than half an hour total.

    This was my experience as well. I was in there while my wife was getting the picture for hers done and since we were there did mine. I had a previous nonresident one from Centre County so maybe that sped up the decision process for them. They were fast and very nice to us. I was VERY glad and felt lucky I didn't have to do it back in February when PICS was taking up to 4 hours or more.
