Closing a Want to Buy Ad

I can't edit the prefix on this ad. http://forum.pafoa.org/firearms-6/20...p-shotgun.html

It can be closed as I successfully bought what I wanted from a forum member.

This is what you need to do.

"Default Closing your own ads... a "How To"... you MUST do this.
if the ad is under 1 month old, use the following procedure. if older than 1 month, report the post as "old ad cannot close"

to CLOSE your ad, open your ad, hit "edit", when the editing window opens hit " go advanced".
change the PREFIX of your ad to [CLOSED].. that is ALL.

do not use "thread tools" to CLOSE your ads, that merely makes it so you cannot edit the ad further.

this process is found in the ad forum rules.

note, failure to follow the ad forum rules will result in a loss of posting privileges on this site.

so go close your ad.
