I wouldn't expect them to be gouging. From what I've seen all the big stores are keeping their prices the same, Gander Mountain, Dunhams, Cabelas, Bass Pro, even Walmart with what little they have. It's all the local gun shops that have been raping everyone, you know the ones we all support during slow times.

I fired off an email yesterday to the larger of the local shops around me telling them I'm done with them after all this and that I've never ordered a gun online or ever asked them to match online prices but from now on if I can get it cheaper online that is what I'll do. Haven't heard back.

I'm friendly with one of the girls that works firearms at one of the large stores near me and she told me that people line up on Friday morning before the store opens because they know that's when the truck comes. Today they got 5 .223 rifles in (didn't mention which) and a local ffl holder tried to buy them all. She is aware that they would go straight to gunbroker and would only sell him one. Greedy assholes.

Gander Mountain and Cabela's prices were higher to begin with pre-gun-armageddon(or whatever it's being called). It's rather ironic the stores I would avoid before are now the ones with the best deals.

Ammo prices were OK in the York store yesterday. Not great, but not gouging either.

Of course, the shelves were 4/5 empty, especially of the calibers I was looking for...

I think I need to go earlier in the day.

Start checking those online numbers (located near the item in the ad), everything I checked on was sold out.

To top that off, I got my flyer yesterday, the sale started on the 5th and the directions to the postmaster are to deliver the flyer on the 6th to 8th.

Would have been nice to know about the "sale" before the sale.

And after all that, I still can't figure out who comes up with where to locate stores at anyway.
    Johnstown and Greensburg?
IMO, it should have been Altoona and Indiana.

I don't shop there - but I would be very interested in how much of the stuff they advertised they actually have in stock ???

The "Moon Twp/Robinson Twp" G-Mtn had Independance-brand .223 for sale for $10.00 20rds/box yesterday, Thurs 2/7. Had plenty, but with a 2-box limit...

    No EBRs on the rack.

I'll be down at the one in Winchester, VA with the wifey tomorrow. SHE wants to go and see if they have any magazines or reloading supplies.

She's also expressed an interest in an "emergency" bag (get-home bag) for the car.

    Good for her!

We need more gals in the fight - this is EVERYONE's 2A - this isn't just for white men.

And - have her google for Kim Kardashian's blinged out NAA mini-revolver. About the only thing positive about Kim. Well, OK, one of a few things positive about Kim... but leave that part out.
