Default Question about .357 Conversion kit for Glock

I just bought a Glock 23 .40 S&W, and I have been looking around for information on different things, and I noticed a few articles on conversion kits to make the Glock 23 .357 with a conversion kit.. My question is this, is it hard to do..? is it expensive...? and above all, is it safe and reliable...?

Would I be better off to save my money and just buy a Glock 32 .357 later on..?

    Thanks,
    Dave

remove slide, take out 40 bbl, insert 357 bbl re-install slide.

teh 357 sig is the same cart as the 40 s+w, just necked down to a 9mm bullet.

    Deth,

Yeah, I knew it was necked down .40, but I was not aware that the barrrel swap was that easy... is it reliable..? or do the parts wear out faster from swapping the barrels back and forth

    I have both a G32 and a G23.

The G32 was my first Glock and I took 2 or 3 pistol classes with it.
I then bought a Glock factory .40 bbl and basically made it into a G23. Ammo cost at that time was a concern.

I later bought a G23, set up both pistols with Heinie Straight eight slant pros and used one primarily to take classes with and the other to carry.

Now they are both carry guns in .40.

This Sun I put the .357 bbl back on and was shooting some leftover aluminum cased Blazer and had some failures to feed, which had never happened before. I had three new .357 mags and will have to shoot each a bunch and see if one of the mags is giving me a problem.

I reconfigured it to G23 and had no further issues.

I did recently put a set of XS big dot sights on one and have to shoot more to be comfortable with carrying it.
