AR 15 a steal or rip off?
At LGS i found a Colt AR15 20" barrel with an ACOG sight attached. Price is 2000, is that fair?

Re: AR 15 a steal or rip off?
It really is a matter of opinion at this point. People are paying close to $2000 for a $700 AR. So if you want to buy an AR right now the fact that you get an ACOG is pretty much a bonus.

Re: AR 15 a steal or rip off?
Depends on if you really, really want one. A few months ago it probably would have cost less. In a few months it might cost less again or more can't be sure. I would not pay that price for it but I don't like that type of weapon. I don't like AKs either. I like pistol calibre carbines and shotguns. What was your question again? Ohh, I guess it depends on if you really, really want one.
Some people just plain suck.

If it's a legit ACOG then that's a good or great price. Your paying at most $1000 for the gun.

Buy it, under these circumstances it sounds like a good deal much better than most people are getting.

Yes, sounds like a good deal. The going price for Colts on Gunbroker right now is $1800 or so.

Everyone else covered it pretty well. The ACOG by itself is worth a lot of money.
