    Default Where to go for hunters safety course?

    Hey im looking for a place to go for a hunters safety course or how u go about getting your hunting license im only 17 but i will be 18 in 2 months oh and im in the Kensington area of Philadelphia. Just looking for some info and what would be the best gun for a beginner. I did shoot a rifle when i was younger but im bigger now and want to learn how to shoot more. Thanks everyone.

    As for learning, might I suggest the NRA Basic Rifle course. If you take it first you won't have as many bad habits to break.

    I would suggest the game commisions web site or any local sporting goods store, most have a flyer or 2.

    If he's as new to shooting as he says he is, he should'nt really have any bad habits to break. My experience has always been that friends who ask for pointers on improving accuracy that are "long time shooters" have some real bad habits that need slapped out of them.
