Largest 380?
Who makes the largest framed 380 pistol? Most of them I've seen are really small framed. I'm thinking of getting a 380 for my wife to shoot but all the ones we've seen are all too small.

Re: Largest 380?
I have a Walther PK 380 that is a nice size. It fits my hand perfectly. It's not really a pocket gun (alittle big for your pocket) but it is easy to conceal. Light weight and shoots great.

Re: Largest 380?
Not 100% sure how big of a gun your wife if looking for, but for a mild recoiling .380 I would recommend the Sig P238. My girlfriend has one and loves the consistent single action trigger, excellent high profile sights and tame recoil. Fits her smaller hands well and doesn't sacrifice as much as a poly frame (Keltec, Ruger, Kahr) which are geared more towards pocket carry.

Re: Largest 380?
I'd say the berretta 94fs. In stainless with some wood grips they sure are purdy. I think the cheetah is the only .380 I'd buy.

Re: Largest 380?
Ruger just produced the LC380:

Quote from the article below:
“Although, the LC380 is slightly larger than the LCP, I think that shooters who have larger hands, or are just looking for a pistol that they can get more grip on, will find the LC380 a good match.”

Re: Largest 380?
I'd say the largest is probably the Hi-point. I know a lot of people don't like them because they're cheap, but everyone I've talked to that has one says they shoot. Lifetime warranty too. Personally I've never owned one so I can't say, but damn they are ugly!
BTW I'm not sure if you've priced .380 ammo but if I had to pick a gun for a beginner I'd go with 9mm. Once this craziness dies down it should go back to being the cheapest option.

Re: Largest 380?
Google the ATI MS380. It is a Beretta 84F knockoff (old Beretta factory in Turkey). Priced under $300 it is a damn nice gun. It is a double stack magwell which is about the biggest platform you'll find in a 380. If you like the 92FS/M9 you will like that gun.
It has to start someplace... It has to start sometime...

Re: Largest 380?
TriStar C100 in .380 made by Canik.
Size of a CZ75 compact. Which is not really compact. 15+1 capacity. Alloy frame.
http://www.tristararms.com/pistols-semi-automatic.php
CZ83 is about the same size but steel. Although the blowback design gives slightly sharper recoil. 12+1 capacity
The CZ has been discontinued but there are a lot out there. Surplus models are also available in 9x17 now also.
