I'm new to the Buck's area, I need references

I'm fairly new to the Buck's area. I been living in town for going on a year now from Jersey. I'm already a PA gun owner and now wants to step it up to a LTCF. The only problem is I really don't know anybody here and I need two PA references to submit my application. I'm also hoping to link up sometimes and occasionally go to the shooting range. I'm getting bored with going alone or bring my wife...... Don't tell her I said that, LOL!

References can be from anywhere, the sheriff cannot make his own rules.

The only legal requirement with references is that they can't be family members (don't know what they mean by "family") or live in the same household (maybe?).

Your references DO NOT have to be Bucks County residents, or even Pennsylvania residents. If the only references you know reside, unfortunately, in New Jersey, then use them.

I've seen the following done here in the past:

Offer to buy dinner or beers to two people from this site that live in Bucks and have a meeting. Sit, talk guns, politics, religion, etc, etc, etc. I'm sure a couple folks will take you up on your offer to get to know you over dinner/beer and wouldn't mind being a reference after that.

When I filled out my application I used references from where I work. I've talked guns with both of them and one had his ltcf.
