FYI... my hand is SORE!!

so... 3 inch slugs, pistol grip and an 18 inch barrel means for a SORE hand... lol

i wanted to know how much kick to expect. now i know... needless to say the destruction dont to the sappling behind the target made my sore hand worth it. now i know if i hit someone with a slug they are NOT going to live...

Nice thread title. Made me look. Were you not sure if someone would be dead if they took a 3" slug to center of mass?

no no, i knew if i hit them center mass they would die... but now i also know if i hit a limb they will bleed to death... lol

i wish i had a camera. this sapling was DONE!

The first time I ever shot a shotgun was my Mossberg 500 Breacher with pistol grip and a 3" magnum slug. LOL! We shot it all afternoon, but it was nasty. Had a shoulder stock now!

yes, i think i will be getting a Knoxx recoil stock for it... i need shoulder surgery again already, time to start taking care of it more... lol

and an 8 shot tube from a 590!!!

Yeah the recoil of a 12 guage slug is pretty rough. My brother got a 500 slugster and had it bore sighted. We had to put up 4 targets just to get it to hit paper. Needless to say he stopped shooting halfway thru and let me finish sighting it in.
