Firearms Appraiser

Looking for recommendations on an elite appraiser. I have a family member that has a 2 digit serial number Henry Rifle. Her great grand father worked at the New Haven Arm Mfg company and this is one of the first Henry Rifles ever made. The online value is wide $25-75K range. She is looking for an appraiser that will be able to put a value on the rifle. I already gave her the contact for the Buffalo Bill Historical Center records office to get a letter from them on the details of the rifle.

Thanks she is looking at getting it formally apraised.

After looking at the pictures and doing some online research, it is actually not a Henry. It is a Volcanic Carbine, serial number 14. The rifle has been in her family for five generations. The rifle was manfactured in 1857.

Antique Road Show Google for the 2013 schedule, closest may be August in Virginia. If you apply for a ticket, citing what you are bringing, and they give you one . . . well, that would say something lol.
