total amateur. you need 5-6 presses bolted on, and more junk and components to cover the bench top...

You got that right with the extra storage bamboomaster. When I first built my bench I thought I would have more then enough space to last me for quite awhile. Just one year later I'm looking for how to add extra storage space to my reloading area.

I've heard it said that stuff is like a gas, it expands to fill available space. If that's true then reloading stuff is like an explosive gas because it expands to fill MORE than the available space.

OP: Can you remove your powder drop? It looks like you can slide it out of its mount but still be attached to the 2x4. (or whatever it's mounted on) If so, I like the concept. I may have to adapt that to my loading bench to switch presses in and out quickly. Some 3/4" thick ply or MDF w/ the edges cut on an angle like that could be just the ticket. Thanks for the idea.

Yes. I simply cut the 2x4 on an angle on both sides so that I can slide it in and out from the back. Works pretty good, especially if I'd ever want to use multiple powder measures, I could interchange them easily.

I got my bins at Home Depot. They stack and come with a hanger strip that is about 2 or 3 bins wide. I think they are made by Stanley. I hooked two of them up on the edge of the bench just to the left of my press, so I could pick brass from the one on the left to put right in the press. And just flick the case that just got sized/seated/crimped into the bin on the right, closest to the press.

It cuts down on time fumbling for cases between press strokes.

Thanks. I went ahead and ordered a couple of the Lee ones from Midway that come with the hanger strip. At $10 each I figured it was a fair price.
