California school district arms officers with semiautomatic rifles
http://www.star-telegram.com/2013/01...rict-arms.html
So, to make sure I understand California's official position correctly, school district police need a weapon whose only purpose is to kill lots of people really quickly? If you don't know who your state legislators are go here:

put your zip plus 4 in the box in the upper right hand corner.

Re: California school district arms officers with semiautomatic rifles
I love it when the news media calls them "semi-automatic rifles" instead of "Assault Weapons" when it suits them.

I guess people are afraid the rifles will jump out of the locked safe on their own.
The one board member said something like. The crazed person coming in to do harm will be equipped with bigger guns to one-up the police's AR15s..... In my head im thinking.... Ma Duce? bazooka? GAU-17? Little boy? Fatman?

Pennsylvania has some parallels to California. A couple highly concentrated liberal cesspools that guide the rest of the state. They just have a higher cesspool ratio.
