New Shotguns for Christmas

I bought myself a couple of new shotguns for Christmas:

Stoeger Condor Competition 12 ga. O/U

Marlin 1898 12ga Cowboy Action Shotgun

Did you buy the Condor from Dick's? I heard mixed reviews about the Condors...when I was looking for my first O/U I considered them. I ended up going with a Yildiz O/U. Hope you like you two new toys. Was this a Christmas present to yourself?

I got mine from Gander Mountain - They just got it in. This is the Condor Competition - it has the ported barrel and the adjustable cheek rest. I was the first one to see it and took it - it hadn't been on the rack more than 10 minutes. Now, here's the kicker; It was the only one they had and I'm always looking for a deal, so I told the salesman that I wanted to look it over really close. On the bottom of the stock was some tape residue and I showed it to him. I didn't tell him what it was, but I ask for a discount - they gave me the gun for $475 in a hard case! I about pissed my pants. Hell I could have licked that tape residue off. BTW, those Yildiz O/U's are really purty guns. Which model did you buy? And, yes, I bought both the guns for myself! I am selling all of my cameras and assessories and puttin' the money into guns.

I just finished another purchase - a Yugoslavian Simonov M59/66 SKS Rifle in NRA Very Good condition. I have a question about Caliber versus metric. What the conversion from metric to caliber and reverse?
