    Default 12 gauge ammo questions

    hey members,
just got a franchi affinity 12 gauge semi auto and just wondering if anybody has one or has more knowledge of ammo to use for it as im used to an old remington that ate up anything i loaded it with, does it matter if i use steel or lead shot? the recommended minimum ammo is 2 3/4" 1 1/8oz 3 dram as per manufacturer, not much of a hunter but do shoot often skeet and trap , been using winchester super target steel 2 3/4 " 1 1/8ox 3 dram and fires just fine but looking to experiment with other ammo, just looking for some good knowledge. thanks alot

Thumbs up Re: 12 gauge ammo questions

Not to be a smart a$$ but I would read the owners book that came with the gun. Or Google the gun's info.
