Found an M&P 40 Range Kit today...

...but passed on it. Was a great deal, the range kit came with the M&P 40, 3 mags (yes 3), dual magazine pouch, holster, and reloading tool. All for $508, brand new with a case to store everything. If I didn't just pick up a Glock 23 I may have gotten it. But I'm more into the compact/subcompact size anyway, the full size just feels a little too bulky in my hand. Nice piece though and at a great price. The 3rd mag, holster, mag pouch, and case make it a great deal for the price. If anyone is near the Handgunner in Topton, PA stop in to check it out, although it may already be gone. I was there about an hour and a half ago, they were pretty much wiped out. Bought their last brick of SP primers.

That's a great price! I just picked up an M&P40 compact from King Shooter's Supply in King of Prussia for $489 (last M&P compact they had, and one of the last ones in the area). King also had an M&P40 Range Kit for either $509 or $519, but like you I really preferred the compact due to size.
